The biggest draw for us to look into it here was the rebuilt TCP/IP stack, 
one of the computer center folks here says it greatly improves your 
internet connection, noticeably speeding it up (especially for modem 
users).  I have yet to upgrade a 98 machine to ME to test that theory out 
for myself though.
