Learn how easy it can be to add dynamic content to your web site!
Attend the LITA Regional Institute: Database Driven Web Sites, a
workshop sponsored by the State Library of North Carolina in
collaboration with NCLA Technology and Trends Roundtable.

Date:   Monday, December 11, 2000
Place:  Radisson High Point, High Point, NC

This program will outline the range of solutions available for
delivering database-driven content over the web. Sample library
applications will be developed using different software solutions,
ranging from easy "out of box" solutions to the more powerful Active
Server Pages and Cold Fusion. Open-source solutions will also be
discussed.  The intended audience for this program is library web
managers who have a basic knowledge of HTML and some familiarity with
database concepts.
County-level and academic IT staff who work with libraries in developing
web pages are also invited to attend. Kristin Antelman, Head of Systems
and Networking at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Library, is
the presenter.

Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Priority registration will be given to staff from NC LIVE participating
institutions but staff from non-NC LIVE institutions are welcome to
attend.

Program Registration Fee:
Technology and Trends Round Table members     $50
Staff from NC LIVE participating institutions        $65
Staff from non-NC LIVE participating institutions $125
