By the way, I am not endorsing working for this service. I just thought it
was interesting that the commerical "reference service" industry has begun
to recruit librarians...

NO FRIGGIN WAY!  The waiver for people who answer questions states that the
person answering the question will INDEMNIFY AskAnything for any problems or
lawsuits that result from the work they do.  Not only NO, but HELL NO!
(Since when does an employer ask you to indemnify THEM?)

An interesting entry taken from the Illinois Library Association's "Job
Opportunities" Web page (http://www.ila.org/jobs.html). Looks like the
commercial sector may have stumbled onto the idea that librarians just might
be good at answering questions.  :-)
