SQL database problem - any good resource?

Thanks for all who replied so promptly to my query - we seem to have sorted
the problem.

My colleague who was doing this had looked in books and on Microsoft's and
other ASP Web pages but hadn't come across the answer. So are there any good
resources regarding putting databases on the Web using ASP that would help
in the future? 
(There doesn't seem to be anything on The Library Web Manager's Reference
Center - http://sunsite.berkeley.edu/Web4Lib/RefCenter/)
