LONG list of URLs in Netscape Proxy

HELP!  I am trying to input a L-O-N-G list of URLs into Netscape Navigator
4.08's proxy settings, and when I exit out and restart Netscape, I get the
following error:
   Netscape -- JS Preference Warning
   An error occurred reading the startup configuration file. Please contact
your administrator.
   C:/Program Files/Netscape/Users/default/prefs.js, line 11: missing )
after argument list. user_pref ("network.proxy.type", 1);

When I click on OK (the only option), I receive another error:
   Netscape -- Warning
   Error in preference file (prefs.js).  Default preferences will be used.

Then when Netscape comes up, it defaults back to Netscape's default startup
page and my proxy settings are missing.

I am reasonably sure that Netscape is having trouble with the proxy list
being so long...  The "missing )" seems to be occurring because my list of
URLs in the prefs.js file wraps, and thus, line 11 doesn't end properly
using a ")".  My line 11 and 12 look like:

line 11: user_pref("network.proxy.no_proxies_on", "url1.com, url2.com,
url3.com, etc... urlx.com,
line 12: urlx+1.com, urlx+2.com, etc...

Can someone enlighten me as to what are my options?
i.e. Is there a way I can edit the prefs.js file (even though it tells you
not to) so that it can read multiple "network.proxy.no_proxies_on" lines?

If not, what else can I do??  Thank you in advance for your suggestions!
