The Himmelfarb Library currently has two openings.  Information on both is
listed below.

Clinical Liaison Librarian

The George Washington University Medical Center seeks applications for the
position of Clinical Liaison Librarian, Himmelfarb Health Sciences
Library.  Primary responsibilities include reference services, liaison
with hospital and the Medical Faculty Associates, design and teaching of
curriculum for medical students, residents, faculty and staff,
coordination of student orientations and development of web-based
instruction.  

Salary competitive, negotiable. Excellent academic benefits. Review of

Instructional Technology Librarian

The George Washington University Medical Center seeks applications for the
position of Instructional Technology Librarian, Himmelfarb Health Sciences
Library.  Primary responsibilities include collaborating with faculty to
identify and implement instructional technologies in the curriculum and
the Library's collection.  Complementary duties include reference,
consultation, and instructional services.    Requirements: MLS from an
ALA-accredited school and at least 3-5 years of increasing responsibility
in a health sciences library (or equivalent education and training);
strong background in instruction,
reference/consultation services and educational technologies; excellent
written and oral communication skills. Desired:  Knowledge of educational
technologies including: applications and computer-assisted instructional
software, web-delivered, distance education, multimedia techniques, and
teleconferencing.  Basic networking skills.
