We do have some telecommuters but by and large our highly collaborative
environment does not really allow for telecommuting. We are a very team
oriented environment and feel that physical proximity is important. So far
it seems that this philosophy is working.

I took a look at the URL for the job listings...

I'm really curious..and I'll bet others on this list are as well.  Why, in
this age of connectivity, is it necessary to base virtually all of these
positions in San Francisco?  CNET, by the way, is not the only employer who
does this.

Why such an unenlightened attitude in such a "hot" industry?
