Even if you are a department of one, thin-clients could save you money in the long run. As the old adage goes, time is money and time spent working on PCs
is time not spent working on other projects. The ability to centralize administration and management of your clients is the selling point behind
thin-client -- these benefits will be more apparent in a larger organization than a smaller one. Still, with all the questions and discussions that get
posted to this list about set-up, security, administration, etc. of client software and PCs -- clearly, they suck up a fair amount of time for many of us
who have to support them. Total up the number of hours a week you spend with PC issues and factor that into your cost-of-ownership too.
