A couple of days ago, and then again today, I opened an email message that
I had read onto my PC using Eudora_lite.

When I opened that message, Eudora crashed. Upon reopening Eudora, I found
that the message apparently disappeared. Then I looked in my attachment
directory and found some files, with file type of 'file'

I opened them first in notepad, and then in WORD. Even with WORD 97, the
files are not clean. however I can see that they were created with
	IPM.Microsoft Mail.Note 1

And appear to have subject line of
	  [WEB4LIB] Re: AOL browser question

Near the end, I see the following.

    #   [WEB4LIB] Re: AOL browser question    5     D
<A1C1FCAFCE39D311B34F00A0C9231F0307C41A at 509thcsc2.livorno.army.mil>

The file in my attachment directory has a time/date stamp of Nov 9 at 9:07
AM (I am on EST)

Does anyone have an explination? What kind of file is being sent? Can I
survive these email crashes?

I would appreciate learning what is happening. Does it happen to anyone else?

Isabel
