A small utility which I have had much success with is located at
http://studserver.uni-dortmund.de/~su0165/eac081b.zip and goes by the name
Exact Audio Copy.

Also, you may find a large collection of other programs with similar
function at the following two URL's:

The ability to rip cda data to wav is dependant on the capabilities of
your CD-ROM drive. Some have features which make this an easy task, others
add complications or fail to function at all.
