Drop down menu success

Aloha to all again,

Thanks to all of you who responded to my plea for information and help on drop down menus for our library home page. I looked at everything you suggested. The easiest solution was one suggested by Andrew Mutch who suggested going to the website Doc Javascript Menu Builder (http://www.webreference.com/js/menus/)

I followed the instructions and it works great. It's a "poor man's way" of avoiding learing how to do scripting and doesn't have the whistles and bells of some pages (maybe I'll shoot for that later) but it does do what I wanted it to do. You can see the revised page I've been working on at:

http://library.byuh.edu/bottom4.htm

One thing I noticed in the Doc's program. Don't put a URL in your first selection. Use something like a heading. The reason for this is that you have to go to any link after the first item before you can come back to make the first link work. I don't know why. Just a small irritation. I also decided not to use a GoTo button or whatever you want to name it. It was easier to just have it automatically go to your link.

If I can be of any assistance to anyone else wanting to try this tool, let me know. Thanks again for all your help
