Unfortunately,  Explorer is an .exe file as well.  You won't be able to run
regedit either.  I believe that you may have to go to DOS and edit
"fix-exe.reg" to fix the registry.  Mr. Rasmussen may know better than I,
but I believe you'll need to type in (after "edit fix-exe.reg")

            REGEDIT4 

            [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shell\open\command]
            @="\"%1\" %*" 

and then exit, and then enter "start fix-exe.reg.

I haven't done this before, I make no gaurantees, so back up your registry
before attempting this.
