Getting IP Numbers for your use.

While Dan is right, in most cases you want to get IP numbers from your ISP
instead of getting them yourself. Unless you're pretty large and need a
large block of IP addresses it is way more trouble than it's worth. [I'm a
pretty strong advocate of setting up virtual private networks and using
network address translation, to mitigate the need for IPs among other
benefits].The information, including the forms to submit, on how to get IP
