ANNOUNCEMENT: OCLC Institute Early-Bird Extension

Dear Readers,

The Early-Bird deadline for "Using Metadata for Knowledge Management"
offered Sept. 8-10, 1999 in Dublin, Ohio by the OCLC Institute has been
extended.  

The registration fee of $ 445.00 for OCLC members, $ 495.00 for non-members,
will apply until the course registration deadline of Wed. Aug. 18.

The intensive 2.5 day seminar combines lectures, structured hands-on lab
exercises and small-group projects.

Topics addressed in this seminar include:

Knowledge Management opportunities for libraries
Foundations of Resource Description and Internet applications
Emerging Web standards, including XML, RDF and Dublin Core
