There are many ways to optimize images. Try my co-branded version of
GIFCruncher at:  http://www.lights.com/publisher/cruncher/

Put your URL: http://www.library.tmc.edu/

in the "Crunch from Web" box. All of your .gif files are returned and you
can work on each of them.
