I have the following question out on behalf of ALA. But I
was thinking for WEB4LIB folks...that instead of an increase
of books and old PBS videos being checked out....some of you
may have created some online resources/web pages that could
use some free PR.

More interest in Shakespeare at your library?

Remember the Titantic? Well-l-l-l......
A reporter from "Wireless Flash" news service wants to know if
libraries are seeing an increased interest in works by and about
Shakespeare as a result of the Academy Award nominated film
"Shakespeare in Love." ALA would also be interested to know
if whether any libraries are doing promotions to tie into the film?

Please respond directly to the Director of Public Information
Linda Wallace at: lwallace at ala.org
with a CC: to stephanie at friendcalib.org

I will tally up and share the responses with the list.
