Position Requirements

The person we're seeking is a creative, team-oriented, entrepreneurial
individual with a background in information and library science.
To succeed in this position, our future colleague should understand the
principles of information organization, indexing, classification, searching,
information management, and user interface design. Responsibilities will
include creating information architectures for Web sites, Intranets, and
other information systems; additional responsibilities may include
researching, creating, and applying controlled vocabularies and repackaging
content from traditional media for online use. Experience as a team member
on Internet-based information system development projects is desired.

This individual should also have excellent communication, organization, and
management skills and should be comfortable maintaining relationships with
clients, co-workers, and subcontractors.

Requirements

Masters degree in Library/Information studies from an ALA-accredited
program.
Experience managing people and projects.
Experience designing and developing Web sites.
