I don't know if this is the same thing your refering to in distiller but there
is an option on the Adobe Acrobat installation cd to install a pdf print
driver.  Then you can use any software that will read tiff files and print to a
pdf format.  IrfanView32 is a good "freeware" viewer for several graphics
formats with some other useful options.  It is freeware for personal use and a
whopping $10.00 registration for any other use.  This little program is well
worth its price.  Even reads audio files.
