Win 95 vs. NT

It is worth noting that Windows95 can be only slightly more forgiving of
DOS apps talking directly to hardware devices (I've mostly come across DOS
programs wanting to directly access the hard drive, though I've seen one
instance where Windows95 wouldn't allow direct video access.)

In my own experience, I have yet to find a DOS program with works with
Win95 but not with NT.
