Public/Academic partnerships

I am looking for examples of collaborations between public and academic
libraries in terms of providing web-based community information.  If your
public library has worked with an academic library (or vice versa) to
create a community information network, or to facilitate the publication
of governmental and/or non-profit information, please let me know.

Also, I am looking for examples of public libraries that are coordinating
the web presence (governmental) for cities and counties.
