I had earlier inadvertently posted back to the sender about another piece of software that is worth taking a look at. It replaces the need to ftp or telnet to your website. The programme, only available for Win95, allows you to map your home directory on your server as a drive on your PC. I have used it over a dial up connection and it works fine, excellent throughput, and it is a simple drag and drop.

The software from Zannet http://www.zannet.com requires two pieces in order to work. A client that installs on your PC, and a binary that installs in your home directory on your server. A variety of server binaries are available.

I hope that these two cents save people some time in maintaining their websites.
