Circulation question

It can be alarming if, like many libraries, you have a limited budget that
must be allocated for various print, non-print, and electronic services.
If your patrons are using the Internet in place of print resource
products, should more $$$ be allocated for workstation and data line
upgrades, additional workstations, additional on-line databases, etc.
Unfortunately, for many libraries, these are "either/or" not "all of the
above" dilemmas. I'm sure that those kinds of decisions will be difficult
for many librarians, especially those who do not view electronic resources
as a core element of their information collections.
