We addressed that problem when we first got our jobs as "application
designers." Since we didn't know what that meant, we spent some time
surfing, sifting, and sorting the web. The short version of our results is
part of Blue Webn, our searchable database of Internet sites, and is
located at http://www.kn.pacbell.com/wired/bluewebn/apptypes.html.

The longer version resulted in an article, What's On the Web? which was
published in the CUE Newsletter and Compton's New Media on America Online
and was written by our K-12 specialist, Tom March. It is located at
http://www.ozline.com/learning/webtypes.html.
