Remote access to databases

IAC has a product called RPAS (Remote Patron Authentication System) which
prompts a patron for an ID if she tries to connect to an IAC product and
is not coming from a valid IP address. This system is fairly easy to set
up if you have a way to create your patron database. IAC is currently
charging $1000 per simultaneous user for RPAS, which is in addition to
your other IAC subscription fees.

We do not have any SIRS products.

Patron authentication is a big problem for all of us right now.
