So there is no atrocity that would make you respond uncivilly? Please,
people.  If courtesy is enshrined above all else there would be no
protests, no resistance to oppression; in short, no progress. Being slaves
to courtesy can be downright anti-intellectual.

In the 1700's the British found us colonials extremely rude.  Too bad.
