Ithaca College an independent, comprehensive, residential college located in the beautiful Finger Lakes region  
of NY is accepting applications for the position of Multi-media Services librarian.  The incumbent is Responsible 
for planning, evaluating and managing multi-media service functions.  This includes acquiring and processing of 
non-print materials (videos, films, laser discs and interactive computer software) used to enhance the 
instructional, research and informational needs of students and faculty; providing film and video rentals for 
classroom use; reviewing and updating the collection and advising faculty on availability of multi-media 
instructional resources.
Qualifications: 
Required: MLS from an ALA accredited Library School; 3 years professional experience in a 
multi-media/instructional resource/learning resource operation; one year supervisory or managerial experience; 
excellent communication skills; outstanding technological skills and knowledge of computer hardware and software 
and multi-media equipment.
Preference will be given to candidates who have combination of experience in the areas of collection development, 
acquisitions, cataloging and project planning. Send letter of application describing experience and
