ICQ is a chat program.  I do not have any personal experience with it (how
to set it up, etc.) but I have seen it used. I think it is kind of similar
to IRC.

YAHOO seems to think I can find it at http://www.mirabilis.com, but I just
tried it, and their web page would not come up.

It's "all the rage".  It is text/typing only (not audio or video, like
CU-SeeMe), so anyone can use it.

I know it's not a lot of info, but I hope it's enough.
