Citing Internet pages

The basic "non-official" MLA citation of web pages that I have seen
usually contains the author (if available), title, date, URL, and date of
access. Now with First Search on the Internet and with First Search
offering full text articles, I am curious as to whether a full text
article retrieved from First Search while using the Internet version
would be cited exactly the same as when the same article is retrieved
from the non-web version of First Search. Or... would the cite of the
article from the web version of First Search also need to have the URL
and the date of access, just as we do other pages cited from the web?

Also, many times we may be accessing the non-web version of First Search
by using telnet. There is a guideline for citing sources when using
telnet. Does this also apply when using First Search - making it
necessary to provide the domain name of the telnet location? Most times,
people don't even know they are using telnet nor do they even realize
there is a domain name for the telnet site.

Thanks.
