TView Micro XGA by Focus Enhancements

I have been looking at scan converters--widgets for converting a computer
image to TV so the TV could be used for training. (Scan converters are
often called other things...making the search more interesting!) Most
people say that scan converters only project a moderately satisfactory
image at best. I heard back from a couple of people who say that the
products produced by Focus Enhancements (http://www.focusinfo.com ) are
better than average--though only good, not great. This company is
remaindering some of its earlier products I had been looking at, such as
the TV Gold, and appears to be promoting the TView Micro XGA, which is
under $200 through most of the computer hardware resellers.

Is anyone using this widget for small-group Internet training (27" TV, 6-12
people)? Or have you evaluated it? Rejected it? Is it better than the
average bear, I mean scan converter? Any input welcome (ha, no pun
intended!). We have access to a computer projector, and just got grant
money for a year of Internet training, but the projector has to be picked
up from the other county, schlepped over, dropped off again, etc. etc...
and we also have a huge TV that is almost never used. Seems like there's
a widget opportunity there :-) If I don't hear from anyone AND it's
returnable, I'll just get the darn thing and report back to y'all.
