Daily management & operation of Knight Library Information Technology
Center (ITC) & technical support of UO Libraries' ITCs (Knight, Science,
AAA) & electronic classrooms.  Key role in providing information and
instructional services. Strong professional growth opportunity.  Duties
include staff supervision, system administration & maintenance of networked
hardware & software, instruction, & training.  Requires degree (or near
completion) in computer science or related field; extensive experience with
MS-DOS, Windows 95, Windows NT, Macintosh & multi-platform LANs; some UNIX;
programming, HTML/WWW, lab management, consulting & teaching experience;
supervisory exp.; excellent communication & interpersonal skills.  $34,000
