I have just bought a Microtek ScanMaker Pro E6 with a
(separately purchased) adapter. It takes slides and negatives,
with special holders for each. The adapter essentially is a hood or
scanner cover with a lightsource in it.

It arrived yesterday, so I have not had experience with it yet.
It comes with Adobe Photoshop.
