California Digital Library

There's a brief article in the October 24 issue of the
Chronicle of Higher Education that reports on the
University of California system's "California Digital
Library" project. (Information Technology Section,
p. A25).

The article refers to the project as "a new library whose
collections would be available entirely online". Richard
Lucier will serve as University Librarian and executive
director of the California Digital Library.
