As usual, the Microsoft Corporate Engine conveniently disregards
developement in non-'95/NT platforms. The not-too-oft-hyped UNIX
version(s) of Internet Exploiter have yet to be released, for instance,
while Netscape (say what you will about it) continues its support of many
more platforms than Microsoft.

And am I the only one to be frightened by things like "seamlessly
integrates with your '95 desktop"? Do I want push-technology
advertisements popping up God knows where when I'm running Word? They're
annoying enough as it is during Web browsing.

In my opinion, Microsoft has done too much to retard the developement of
computer technology since its founding. I consider it a moral imperative
to *not* use Microsoft products whenever possible.

All of this is, of course, *my* opinion and not that of my employer.
