Standard for CWIS information provision

Hi,

this is the first time I write to the list.

First of all a little introduction:

I have degree in philosophy and specialization in library science. Now, I'm
collaborating in evaluation of a Campus Wide Information System to be
implemented on the Web, at the National Council of Research in Rome, Italy.

In this regard I would like to know if there is a standard for information
provision related to a CWIS, or consensus on key information areas which
should be included in CWIS.
