A new Electronic Journal

Dear Colleagues:

	During the Sixth International Conference on Scientometrics and
Informetrics (Jerusalem,
17 June, 1997) took place the presentation of Cybermetrics (ISSN 1137
5019), the International Peer-reviewed
Electronic-only Journal devoted to the impact (and measurement) of
Internet in science, scientists, scientific comunication, evaluation of
research and research policy. The URL is:

	Cybermetrics is published in English by the Centro de Documentación
Científica y Técnica (CINDOC) in Madrid (Spain). Cybermetrics is a free
journal published in English only in electronic format.  

	We will thank your opinion about this initiative, but especially we
much
need your contributions. Cybermetrics is open to all kinds of
scientometric studies, specially those related to Internet. All of them
will be peer-reviewed.
