Objection to endless censorship threads

Hi all:

I have about five minutes to read email during my workday. I subscribed
to this list and was very happy for a long time at finding answers to my
technical questions concerning my duties as webmaster.

In the last few months I have had to delete endless messages regarding
the ongoing debate about webfiltering and censorship. While these
topics are certainly pertinent to the list, they just go on and on, and
I don't think very constructively.

Has anyone reconsidered their opinions about filtering or censoring the
net thanks to these constant threads? If so, then great. Maybe most
list members find these discussions stimulating and enlightening. I
don't see that they go anywhere.
