"Proper" HTML (was Re: status o' the day)

Dear Web4Libers,

This subject made me think of the "Best Viewed with Any Browser" page:

	http://server.berkeley.edu/~cdaveb/anybrowser.html

As you might expect, this is a plain vanilla site in appearance, but it
is rich in good ideas on designing Web pages friendly to a wide range of
users and browsers.  It certainly provides food for thought.
