We've had similar ghostly appearances on our 486-66 machine from years back. I've always figured it's the video card/driver. Granted, the problem doesn't occur with other software, but Netscape and the Web are, of course, heavily graphical. Couldn't the problem be hardware? Dean C. Rowan Whittier Public Library
