Filemaker Pro

Does anyone have experience of using FilemakerPro on a Mackintosh for a
bibliographic database made accessible through the Internet?

Technically, it is possible to create a database website through FileMaker
combined with Tango for Filemaker - and there are a number of
non-bibliographic FileMaker databases on the internet.

I'm interested to know whether FileMaker could be used to handle, say, a
couple of thousand bibliographic records with some full text attached.

Any precedents out there in the US of A?

I'd also be interested in information about any other small-scale
specialised bibliographic/full text databases on the internet (as distinct
from library cataglogues).

Thanking you in advance.
