The Institute for Scientific Information is conducting research in many
different aspects of the internet. One of the areas I've been
researching is retrieval of information, i.e. downloading, from the Web.
As we look to make information available via the Web, we are
investigating what the Internet user community accepts as a reasonable
file size for downloading or retrieval.

Have you or your colleagues conducted any user surveys, or have you
researched this aspect of the internet?

I look forward to your response,

Polly Reese
