I'm doing the Library Journal Computer Media Reviews and would like to
ask practicing librarians and information managers what sort of range of
reviews would be most useful to you for putting on the shelves for
check-out and for your personal professional use: beginners, advanced
users, hardware, software, design, spreadsheets, how-to's, etc.

I just did a column on _designing information_, future columns will be on
cutting-edge internet design tools; fun games and multimedia; desktop
publishing: paper and video; security and privacy.

I'm trying to stay away from purely singular reviews of an individual
book and to provide more context for what publishers seem to be strong in
an area and how the hardware/software/paperware/videoware all tie together.

If you have comments, gripes, and/or suggestions please email me at
thom at indiana.edu.

Thanks, Thom
