Suggested Webdesign reading:
> Creating Killer Websites by David Siegel

I also wanted to recommend Siegel's book as soon as the request was
posted, but I've been beaten to it. Although I haven't finished the book
yet, Siegel is quite provocative in his unorthodox approach to HTML. The
'one-pixel' GIF is also useful for creating colorful blocks and bars (as
an alternative to the <HR>) ... although I have found, in my limited
experience, that the clear GIF can be time-consuming to manage when making
changes to text. Nonetheless, Siegel not only produces great Websites, he
has put together a very interesting and beautiful book!

thanks.
