Netscape printing 2 copies

On one of our PC's, Netscape 2.0 prints 2 copies of any web page.
It will not print just one copy.  

The printer involved is an HP LaserJet 4P (attached directly,
not on a LAN).  The default setting in both Netscape Print Setup and 
WFWG 3.11 Printer Setup is 1 copy.  There doesn't seem to be anything
in NETSCAPE.INI that relates to this.

Other programs on the same machine print 1 copy of a document
with no problem.

I don't find anything in the Web4Lib archive or Netscape 2.x FAQ
that helps.  Any advice would be appreciated.
