The Academic Section of the New England Library Association is sponsoring 
three *great* programs at the Annual NELA Conference *next week* (October
1-3) in Providence, Rhode Island at the Rhode Island Convention Center.

1. "Digital Image Conversion: Challenges and Opportunities," presented by

2. "The Cutting Edge: Multimedia Resources in Libraries," presented by Li 
Xia, University of Vermont and Patricia Gray, Middlebury College -

3. "Snapshots of the Net: Views and News of Cyberspace," presented by 
Rick Gates, University of Arizona - Tuesday, October 3rd 10:00 - 11:30
