WEB server hardware?

Our WEB equipement is nearly 4 years old and we are beginning to think
about upgrading the system. Several projects are looming on the horizon
that may tax the current system, a Sun Sparc 10 with several Gig of disk
space and 96 Meg of RAM. Our current monthly activity is running at
200,091 transactions with 3,364,358,900 bytes of data transmitted. In the
future we are looking at some possibilities where would be delivering
library instruction to 6,000 students as well as expanding our full text
delivery. What this says is that we are not only delivering text/image
files but will running CGI scripts/programs.

I would be interested in knowing what other Libraries are using as servers
and the approximate load that they are able to handle.
